What we receive and why

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever name, organization, and message details you choose to include. We use that information to answer you, discuss a possible engagement, and maintain the correspondence needed for that relationship.

Please do not send sensitive personal or confidential client information through an initial website inquiry.

Booking a conversation

The booking button opens a Google Calendar appointment page. Information you enter there is handled by Google as the booking provider and is shared with SLAM so we can arrange the meeting. You can contact us by email instead if you prefer not to use that booking page.

Website operation and external services

IONOS hosts this site. It has no contact form or embedded advertising script. SiteAnalytics is active for slamconsultants.com in the IONOS account. According to IONOS, it measures visits using a pixel or logs, without cookies, and anonymizes the IP address directly after transmission. These statistics are used to evaluate and optimize the site.

Fonts are served by this site rather than requested automatically from Google Fonts.

Who can access information

SLAM and service providers needed to operate email, booking, and the website may access information relevant to those services. Providers needed for hosting, email, and booking may process information outside Quebec.

If the site adds other analytics tools, a form, or a mailing list, this notice and any required consent mechanism must be updated before those features go live.

How we protect information

The site uses HTTPS to protect connections with your browser. Access to inquiries received is limited to SLAM and providers needed for email, booking, and hosting.

Retention and your choices

We keep business correspondence as long as needed to handle your request and meet applicable obligations. To ask about the retention period for information concerning you, contact our Privacy Officer.

You may request access to personal information SLAM holds about you, ask for correction, withdraw consent to its use or disclosure where that right applies, or raise a privacy concern. You may also file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

We will update this notice when the site's collection or service providers change. The review date above will change when the notice is revised.
